We wrote a letter to RRKC (Rotterdamse Raad voor Kunst en Cultuur) in anticipation of the advice they will present next week to the Gemeente. The RRKC is the advisory board that every four years advises the Gemeente on which institutions should receive funding and how much.

We demanded the end of outsourcing as an unacceptable practice but also tried to address different employment routes that tend to be equally exploitative like endless freelancing and internships. We also proposed the Rotterdam Living Wage of 14 euros per hour to coincide with the Gemeente debating the motion next week on the 18th of June in the parliament.
